How to Access SharePoint 2013 Popularity & Site Usage Reports
Is anyone really using your SharePoint site collection? Inquiring minds want to know what content is being accessed, the frequency of its use and how many unique users are visiting a site.
SharePoint 2013 makes quick work of providing site usage statistics in three easy steps. Really, it is super easy and will help validate your content and site governance program as often as you’d like to run the report.
Let’s get started!
1. As a site owner, select the site settings gear icon and “Site Settings.”
2. From within Site Administration select “Popularity Trends.”
3. Within Popularity Trends, select the “Usage Report.” Upon selection, it will automatically download for you.
The Excel usage report downloads in a flash providing you with a snapshot of relevant site analytics.
