Prasanna Adavi, PMP & MVP

So, you are a Project Manager who uses Microsoft Project. However, your organization has implemented SharePoint, and wants you to use SharePoint for your project collaboration, tracking and management.
You do not have to give up using Microsoft Project. You can still use your favorite schedule management tool, and in addition take advantages of the collaborative features of SharePoint.

What’s the benefit, you say? Well, did you know that you can sync all your tasks in MS Project with a SharePoint Task list? Did you know that you can ask your team members to submit updates in SharePoint (eliminating the need for manual updates/excel sheets/meetings) that you can import directly into MS Project schedule and track it from there? Did you know that you could set up status indicators etc., and generate additional reporting very easily?

Regardless of whether your answer was a yes or no to the above questions, you will find this session useful.  This session will cover the process, tips, tricks and best practices for using Microsoft Project and SharePoint together, filled with real-world examples.

3:45 pm - 5:00 pm: "Project Management Roundtable"

Led by all Speakers

This is your opportunity to directly interact with all of the expert speakers including 4 PMPs and a Microsoft MVP! You’ll gain insight from the perspective of small business owners as well as project managers with years of experience in managing both large scale internal projects and Client projects. Learn Project Management tips and best practices on the topics most important to you! Submit your questions in advance by using the hashtag #SPPMS.
